The Andermatt Swiss Alps Group is a project and construction developer, operates a wide variety of facilities and employs more than 1,000 people from 45 nationalities during the high season, including many seasonal workers. A great many employees are mobile and work in many different areas, which complicated networking with everyone. Since the introduction of the Quiply employee app in 2018, Andermatt SwissAlps Group has been able to improve its internal communication and reach all employees in real time on mobile. This allows news and important information to be shared directly and paved the way out of a paper economy. The bulletin board is also now digitized. Thanks to real-time translation, all employees are involved in communication and appreciation reaches them directly.

Initial situation

  • With around 1,000 employees from 45 nationalities at peak season and many seasonal employees, it was difficult to reach everyone.
  • Very many of the employees work exclusively mobile, geographically in different locations and are active in many different areas.
  • Much was organized by means of the analog bulletin board and a pure paper economy.

Results

  • Away from the paper economy, a bulletin board for information is also no longer necessary thanks to the app!
  • Achievement of an activation rate of 80% with the high number of users.
  • All employees receive all important information as well as thanks and appreciation via the app. Thanks to real-time translation also in their respective language.
  • Important seasonal employees remain informed and as "ambassadors in front of the guests" even outside the season. This strengthens loyalty to the company and at the same time saves training costs.
